So I was a little lazy yesterday, got in my clothes but never made it out the door. But today I did what I was supposed to do and went on my run.
I used different shoes (Nike+ ones) and now it said I ran 2.89 miles (impossible) I am going to map my run and see how far I really went. I guess with my walk it may have been that far but it's doubtful.
i am getting a ipod touch that has that nike+ thing in it. Do i have to buy the shoes( i hate nike shoes) or can i just buy the sensor? how much is the sensor?
Off to run with the cold george gave me. I'm wheezing like one of Aaron's bulldogs.
oh oh oh... You need the sensor ($19.99 at best buy, you can buy sensor only, the receiver is built into the touch)...and there is a little baggie you can get for the sensor so you don't have to wear the Nike+ shoes. They are super cheap on ebay but you will need to calibrate it because the motion is different when it is strapped to the laces vice being in the bottom of the shoe.
I am not sure it's cheaper, but it ensures we get to run together (shared bib numbers or something). I think its the same price.
